Maxwell Manadee

Max Mandee is an intelligent, kind, and accomplished SHS student. He is number one in the class of 2024 and takes every opportunity to excel in rigorous AP courses.

Max is passionate about pursuing a career in the medical field after graduation and plans to become a doctor. He had an enriching summer, gaining experience in the field with two internships. First, Max worked as a Research Intern at the University of California-Riverside, conducting experiments and developing solutions for medical issues. He is listed as a contributor to a paper published by the National Science Foundation. Additionally, Max interned at Harn Engineering Solutions in Bangkok, Thailand. As an intern, he had the opportunity to shadow engineers, implement 3D printable material in the medical field, and conduct site visits at a teaching hospital.

Outside of school, Max demonstrates his passion for helping others. He is the secretary of the Interact Club, a community service club at SHS. Furthermore, he volunteers at the North Shore Rovers, where he practices soccer with students with special needs to build their communication skills in a supportive environment. Max is also a 3-sport athlete, playing on the SHS Soccer, Track, and Tennis teams.

Max is an amazing example of a dedicated and well-rounded student. We cannot wait to see what is next for Max!
